Representatives of the Polish Sunday school at the capital's public association "Polacy", which operates on the basis of linguistic gymnasium number 5, visited Poland in the framework of the international program "Poland is in you".

This program gives an opportunity to visit Poland after the tenth grade to the most active and successful students. It is worth noting that in addition to the Polish language, the students study history, folk dance and culture.

According to one of the best students, Nikita Syritsa, within the framework of this program they did not only get acquainted with the sights of Poland, but also improved their language skills in special courses.

"At the invitation of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we have been in Poland for three weeks. During the trip we visited Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw. We visited the Copernicus Science Centre, the Museum of the History of Polish Jews. The most exciting moment was the meeting with the President of Poland Andrzej Duda. Not everyone is given an opportunity to meet personally with the President of the country" Nikita admits.

As the chairman of the Polish ethno-cultural association of capital assembly of people of Kazakhstan Elena Rogovskaya has told, Nikita is the active participant of the Polish Sunday school and youth movement of the cultural center, therefore he has been chosen as the candidate for a trip to Poland.

It should be reminded that the President of Poland Andrzej Duda and his wife Agatha Kornhauser-Duda visited Kazakhstan within the International specialized exhibition "EXPO-2017". During her stay in Kazakhstan, the First Lady of Poland also visited the Polish Sunday school, where she got acquainted with the activities of the educational institution.
